Fall Tours (~September – October)
Our Apple Farm Tours are held in the months of September and October. This specific tour allows participants to learn how apples grow, are harvested, packed and sold, and made into apple cider. Enjoy a hike to the top of our Mt. Mac for a short lesson about our surrounding area’s geography and how we got our Farms name. Groups will learn and have opportunity to feed our Farm animals– always the fan favorite! The tour ends with a fresh farm snack of cider and a freshly picked apple in one of our picnic areas.
*We have additional (seasonal) activities you may also consider adding to any of the tours above. This includes fruit picking, our famous Apple cider doughnuts, a scenic tractor-drawn hay ride through the apple orchard and more. As always, we can customize your tour if need be!
Summer Tours (~July – August)
Over the Summer, berry picking, feeding our Farm Animals, and exploring our Nature Trails are available for tour groups. During this season, we shift our focus to the importance of farm to table education!
Spring Tours (~April – June)
Once Baby Animal Days is over, Spring tours will focus on pollinators, seed planting and watching the bees at work in the orchard during bloom.
Baby Animal Days Tours (~April)
During Baby Animal Days, every Spring, we offer guided tours throughout all the exhibits. Children get an intimate and hands-on experience to learn more about the life cycle of these animals with their tour guide.
GROUP VISITS
Interested in bringing a group of 20 people or more to our Farm? Fill out the Reservation Request form here!
Group visits are encouraged all year round. During harvest season (September & October), we welcome numerous large groups (20 people or more) to our farm. We are committed to ensuring that your planned visit is an exceptional experience, so it’s always best when we know ahead of time! Here are some of the ways we can assist with your experience:
Open Group Visits:
Your group will arrive at the farm together and will pay individually for the activities they choose. In this case, we can help you with parking, notify our staff about the expected influx of visitors at a specific time.
Open Group Visits with Add-ons:
We can help you skip the wait in line on the weekends and pre-order Donuts, Cider, and PYO apple bags. We also offer pre-arranged Hayrides ( $5.00 per person, a minimum of $150.00)
Open Visits with Vouchers
We offer your organization a voucher for each participant to use of their own accord. This is a great way to provide a fun visit without being present. Vouchers will be accepted any day until the end of harvest and can be tailored specifically for your group.
Structured Group Visits:
We can set up your organization so you can meet and greet your guests in a central spot to hand out your pre-ordered items, mingle, etc. This a great option for any organization where the guests are arriving on their own.
