Indian Ladder Farms Photo Shoot Policy
Our customers are allowed to come to the farm during regular business hours to take photographs and/or be photographed at no charge providing they stay within areas open to the public and do not interfere with other customers access to and enjoyment of the farm.
Please note that the farm is open to the public daily and visited by a large number of people so operating without interfering with the public can be challenging.
Professional photographers must review their plans and the day/time and locations in which they propose to shoot and receive written permission (via email) from manager Laura Ten Eyck (laurateneyck@indianladderfarms.com) prior to coming to the farm.
Sometimes when we have multiple photo shoots going on we will ask you to choose a different day/time.
E mail a minimum of one week in advance with the below info:
Photographer’s name & cell phone
Photo Subject Name, # of Subjects
Time of arrival
Approx locations
Time of departure
Day Of: Professional photographers must check in with the manager on duty and provide their cell phone number before beginning the photo shoot.
Photo shoots can also be arranged outside of business hours and/or in areas not normally open to the public. A fee of $100 an hour will be charged for us to provide a staff person to facilitate your access to the farm for your photo shoot.
Please keep in mind that, with the exception of sections of the orchard open seasonally for Pick Your Own our orchards are closed to the general public due to safety regulations. Sections of the orchard can be made accessible by prearrangement such as described in the previous paragraph.
Outdoor areas open to the public include picnic areas, our beer gardens, our nature trail and the grounds surrounding our farm market.
Note: We are happy to facilitate photo shoots anywhere on the farm free of charge for private event customers in conjunction with their event, such as a wedding and reception.
Thank you!
