This position is a hybrid role involving bartending along with Front of House supervision, and bar shifts would be tipped shifts. Supervisory duties will include staff management, drink menu management, maintaining inventories of dry goods, glassware, merchandise, etc, and general overall upkeep. This position will be responsible for securing the building at end of night, as well as ensuring all staff has left property. This position requires a passion for topnotch guest service and a keen sense for guest experience. A flexible mindset with an eagerness to learn new things will be critical to success. Qualifications: 5+ Years of guest service experience, and 2+ years in the craft beverage industry are required for this position.

Wage: Yearly salary will start at $40-50K, depending on experience, including tips.

General Tasks and Responsibilities include:

1. Employees
● Training of new employees
● Provide on-going staff training and brand education, coordinate with head brewer/cider maker/ and ILFCB food purveyor to know about everything available that day as well as highlight products and events coming up in future.
         – All new products are understood and have bullet points for selling to guests. Every bartender and FOH employee will know what every product is, and will know flavor profile.

2. Schedule
● Responsible for proposed tasting room and event staff schedule with GM oversight

3. Inventory
● Draft line planning and coordination for new releases, managing keg lines
● Weekly inventory of all kegs, cans/bottles, and liquor bottles in Tasting Room

● Responsible for all reordering, including dry goods, custodial, spirits/wine, and glassware. Record quarterly inventory of these items on shared google sheet
● Submit all purchase orders, invoices, and receipts promptly to the bookkeeper
● Submit requests for new inventory to owner and GM
● Maintain display areas for merchandise, shelf talkers for cans/bottles, labels for crowlers
● Coordinate draft cocktails with GM, and cocktails for Full Moon Hikes, as well as other special event specifics

4. Coordinate Special Events
● Working conjointly with GM and/or ILF as needed
● Attend weekly BEO meeting to know what is happening and contribute to event planning
● Working with GM on larger events, ie weddings and corporate events
● Ordering spirits/wine, reserving kegs for events
● Coordinating gas tank refills with Long Energy, making sure big and small tanks are filled and ordering as needed

5. Upkeep of tasting room and biergarten/day-to-day operations
● Maintain/update separate tasks lists for setup/breakdown and throughout shift for day staff and evening staff. All tables cleaned and sanitized, chairs up on tables. Tasting Room and connected restrooms are cleaned/stocked, swept, and mopped nightly. Venue must be turnkey for next day’s operations.
● Ensure everyday, prior to service, that all music speakers inside and outside are turned on and are working, and are at appropriate volume. Also ensure all tv screens are displaying approved media.
● Spotcheck throughout service: garbage, bathroom, water stations, litter, bus stations, tables, etc
● Manage garbage and recycling handling system for tasting room and biergarten
● Manage snow removal of the path and stairs

● Organization and cleaning of large and small walk-ins

● Ensuring cleanliness of crowler machine and dishwasher

● As closing MOD, you will be last person out of the building. All FOH staff has cashed out and left, all BOH staff has finished all their duties and left. You are responsible for turning of all lights, music, tv’s, and ensuring all doors to packhouse and Tasting Room are secured and locked.

6. Tasting Room Events
● Responsible for working with music scheduling coordinator
● Ensure promotional material in tasting room is correct and up to date

7. Point of Sale
● Update menus and items in POS system
● Maintain and update menu boards, Untappd draft list, and table menus
● Oversee staff closing forms and make sure they are filled out completely and accurately
● Close all open tickets daily; print receipts for comped tabs for bands, trivia, etc
● Oversee cash drawers

8. Seasonal support during Tasting Room/Biergarten service hours and events and other tasks to support the business. A flexible mindset with an eagerness to learn new things will be critical to success
