FARM STORE CLERK

Position: Clerk (Seasonal/full-time/part-time)

Compensation: $15.50 – $16/hour

Job Requirements

  • Strong communication skills – ability to effectively listen, read & speak clearly
  • Works well in a busy environment and as a team member
  • Flexible hours, weekdays, and weekends, as needed
  • Ability to stand for 8 hour periods – sit, stand, reach, and kneel for long periods of time

Clerk Responsibilities

  • Greet and interact with all customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
  • Ability to answer wide ranges of requests and questions about the Farm
  • Record customer transactions into the POS system, and ensuring all orders are fully and accurately entered
  • Consistently maintain a balanced drawer
  • Clean, stock, price and organize merchandise/merchandise areas
  • Maintain cleanliness of the Farm Store, including the customer bathrooms, waiting areas, and outside merchandise areas
  • Work in a wide range of environments, including indoors, outdoors, and open air retail spaces
  • Perform other related duties as requested
  • Must be punctual and responsible
