It's that time again!!!!  Santa's coming to the Farm on Dec. 5th and 6th!!!!

Winterfest 2009 Schedule

9am − 12 noon: Breakfast with Santa (reservation only)

11am − 4pm Holiday Craft Barn

- Holiday Crafts and demos for both kids and adults

(Walk-ins Welcome - $5 materials fee)

1pm − 4pm: Santa greets the kids

- Come sit with Santa and convince him you've been good this year!

Special Hike with Peter Ten Eyck!
Take an educational stroll through the woods with a look at the geology of the land and the way things were farmed in seasons past. (Group meets at 12:00 noon behind craft barn)

Demos/Talks for Saturday, December 5th

• 12pm: Holiday Meal Shopping for Carnivores
  Honest Weight Food Coop explains the confusing bevy of meat labels - from grass-fed to natural to organic and beyond - to help you prepare for your holiday meals.
• 1pm: Holiday Story Hour courtesy of the Friends of Voorheesville Public Library
• 2pm: Live Holiday Music with 2Late

Demos/Talks for Sunday, December 6th

• 11am: Maple Sugaring
  Five Rivers Environmental Educational Center talks to families about traditional collections methods and sugaring processes.
• 1pm: Holiday Story Hour courtesy of the Friends of Voorheesville Public Library
• 2pm: Sled-dog Racing
  "Vic the Musher" DiSanto shows us what life is like as a sled-dog. Slide-show presentation and an introduction to live sled-dogs!!
